| When should you call a coach?
1. When you feel that something very important is missing from your life, and you aren't exactly sure what you should be doing differently. |

2. When you're stuck and don't know how to get unstuck. 3. When you're burned-out and not sure how to get out of your situation, no less get into a more rewarding one. 4. When you have lots of ideas about what you'd like to do, but aren't able to get (or stay) focused on one of them long enough to get anywhere. 5. When you've read every self-help book you can stand and you still aren't able to change the habits that get in the way of leading a more meaningful life. 6. When you have children who count on you to take care of them and you're not sure how to cut back at work and be with them more. 7. You think a coach could help you get focused on what you really care about. 8. When you'd like to have more support during a transition, and avoid getting bogged down because you don't have a plan When NOT to call a coach? 1. If you're seriously depressed and/or suicidal and haven't gotten medical help or counseling yet (if this might be you, call your doctor or a mental health professional first.) 2. If you first need to stop heavy drinking, taking drugs, and/or other compulsive behavior that gets in the way of doing what what you want with your life (get medical attention and go to a 12-step meeting first.) |
