We don't receive wisdom;
we must discover it for ourselves
after a journey that no one can
take for us or spare us.

    feel like you’ve been wasting your life on things that don’t ultimately matter?

    feel exhausted or worn out?

    feel like your job is so routine that it’s hard to care about it anymore?

    feel demoralized (for example, you’ve stopped trying to come up with solutions to problems at work because nothing ever changes?)

    watch the clock at work and feel a sense of relief when it’s time to leave for the day?

     Symptoms of Parenting Burnout:

    feel like you’re usually on overload, and rarely have fun with your children?

    feel more like a maid, cook, chauffeur than a valuable part of your child’s life?

    • feel like putting out the mimimal effort possible just to get through the day most days?

    • feel like as soon as you get through the day, it’s time to go to sleep and start all over again?
